Love, Love Is On My Mind

The first 10 seconds sound amazing, like some sort of Cramps/White Stripes mash up, then it slides into a sub-Strokes strum along.

Even that's no sooo bad but I'd had enough before they got to the instrumental breakdown around 3 minutes in. God knows what made them think this needed extending, the trail out is so awful it sounds like the sort of outtake a major band might put on a compilation of rareties for a laugh.

I'm not laughing.

4. Burning The Candle

OK, this is VERY chirpy. Sounds like the soundtrack to a mid-eighties Sega game.

Or maybe a late-nineties day time quiz. Man, it's relentless.

Struggled to get to the end of that one

3. Anno Domini main theme

Lalo Schifrin can't be bad can he? He wrote the soundtracks for Bullett & Enter The Dragon.

Hmm, it's a bit gushy. Lots of hallelujahs at the end. Perhaps you need to see the TV series to really get it?

Perhaps.

2. The Art of The Drummer

2-2-5, 2-2-6, 2-2-7, 2-2-8 and so on all the way to 2-5-9

It sent a little shiver down my spine when it ended.

I like John's voice though, it's like the person who reads the football results on the BBC.

Kind of hypnotic after a while.

1. Kent Stories Read by Keith

23 seconds in and I know I'm going to struggle to get through this one.

It's like the dullest audio book you've ever heard.

I made it to 2 minutes 53 before skipping to the end.

That's an unusual way to spend a Saturday night. I probably ought to have a serious think about where my life is heading.

You should definitely have a go though.Chopperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10288482906642697324noreply@blogger.com
